Darling MGMT ("Darling", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and processes personal data in a secure, transparent and responsible manner.

This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, how the data is protected, where it may be processed and what rights you have.

Darling is a digital platform for influencers, founders, freelancers and small businesses, including for managing customers, leads, assignments, contracts, calendar, invoicing and collaboration.

3. What personal data we collect

Account and contact details may include name, email address, phone number, username, authentication information, business name, role, contact information and profile information.

Business data may include customers, leads, partners, assignments, campaigns, agreements, contracts, deliveries, payment status, invoice information and calendar events.

Communication and content may include customer service inquiries, documents, contracts, assignment descriptions, text, images, files and information in workflows.

Technical data may include IP address, device type, browser, operating system, login information, timestamps, technical logs and security events.

4. How we use personal data

We process personal data to create and manage user accounts, deliver and operate Darling, provide features for customers, leads, contracts, tasks, calendar and invoicing, store user content, follow up assignments and collaborations, improve the service, offer AI-based features, handle support, maintain security, comply with legal obligations and establish, enforce or defend legal claims.

5. AI-based features

Darling contains AI-based features that can analyze information you choose to enter into the service. The features may be used to organize information, analyze contracts, generate drafts, identify follow-up points and support administration.

The AI features are an administrative aid. The user is responsible for reviewing generated suggestions before they are used. Darling does not sell personal data to AI providers or other third parties.

6. Legal basis

Processing may be based on performance of a contract, consent, legal obligations, legitimate interests or other legal basis under applicable privacy legislation. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

7. Sharing with service providers

Darling may use providers for cloud infrastructure and data storage, server operations, security, analytics and logging, email, payment, AI/API services and customer support. Providers only get access when necessary to deliver the service and are subject to relevant contractual requirements.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

8. Where data is stored

Darling uses secured cloud-based infrastructure. Platform data is stored by default on server infrastructure in the USA. Data may also be processed by sub-processors in other countries if necessary to deliver, secure or improve the service.

For users covered by GDPR, international transfers are carried out with a lawful transfer basis, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses, where necessary.

9. Information security

We use technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, destruction and unauthorized disclosure.

Data in transit is protected with encrypted communication. Stored data is protected with encryption and access controls.

10. Cookies

Darling may use cookies and similar technologies for login, functionality, settings, analytics, performance, user experience and security. Non-essential cookies are used in accordance with applicable law and, where required, based on user consent.

Darling is aimed at adult users and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children who do not have the necessary legal basis to use the service.

We may update this privacy policy when the service, technology or legislation changes. The current valid version is published on the Darling platform or website.
